My Colors allows for in-camera colour effects to be applied such as; neutral, sepia, black & white, vivid and custom colour. The Canon A720 IS also has DIGIC III with advanced noise reduction which contributes to superior colour rendition using high ISO speeds. People shots are successful as the PowerShot A720 IS has Face Detection AF/AE/FE whereby faces are automatically detected (up to 9 within a frame) and the appropriate focus setting chosen. If any red-eye has occurred this can be corrected in playback.
The Canon PowerShot A720 IS has a real-image zoom optical viewfinder and a 2.5" TFT screen with approximately 100% coverage. Still images are stored as JPEG (Exif2.2), DCF and DPOF and movies as AVI (Motion JPEG) plus WAVE.
