A small, stylish digital camera, the Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z60 is both high tech and easy to use resulting in the production of high quality photographs.
The Exilim Zoom EX-Z60 with 6 megapixels, 3x optical and 4x digital zoom (total zoom of 12x) although miniaturised is a high resolution camera, full of the latest features and functions and suitable for both beginners and the more experienced photographer. This camera is ready to shoot approximately 1.4 seconds after powering up and with a shutter release time lag of approximately 0.002 seconds ensures that you do not miss a shot.
The large bright 2.5" TFT LCD monitor displays images that are very easy to see even in low light conditions enabling easy composition of your shot.
The Casio EX-Z60 features many functions to assist in achieving the best possible results for your picture. These include; Anti Shake DSP which together with Auto Macro and quick shutter functions reduces blurred images due to shaky hand or moving subjects; Easy Mode, a basic menu which can help make picture taking simple and the BestShot button. BestShot offers access to 33 scene modes which have preselected settings to suit particular circumstances, you just chose which suits your scene and shoot.
If you have old photographs in your album which have faded over time, the Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z60 has a function called Revive Shot which when utilised will digitally enhance the colours and bring photographs back to life.
There is a choice of flash functions within the EX-Z60 such as; Rapid Flash which allows 3 consecutive shots to be taken in 1 second; Soft Flash which reduces flash brightness as well as auto, on, off, and red eye reduction. The Flash Assist mode will compensate where there are badly lit areas within your shot.
Other useful quality modes available are; Auto Macro (automatic switching between macro and auto); Exposure Warning (warns of over-exposure) and Icon Help which gives guidance when adjusting camera settings.
Various focus modes are available with the Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z60 such as; auto, manual, macro, infinity, pan and Contrast AF with ranges from 10cm on manual, from 40cm on normal and between 10 and 50cm on macro. ISO ranges from 50 to 400 with 800 when shooting with Anti Shake or High Sensitivity and white balance choices are auto, manual and 6 modes under fixed.
The Exilim EX-Z60 will record voice, still image, still image with audio and movie with audio. AVI (Motion JPEG) movies can be shot, length being dependent upon memory and battery life and in Motion Print, stills can be printed from movies. Playback functions offer movie playback, 9 image display, still image, calendar, rotation and a favourites folder.
