LG KE800 Chocolate II – The Platinum Phone With Style
The LG Chocolate was an amazing success a few years ago and most of the cool kids carried one with them. However, like any good company, LG as not content to rest on those laurels. Instead, they took all of the features, functionality and usability and tried to improve on them. The LG Chocolate II, otherwise known as the KE800 or the Chocolate Platinum. The user experience on this phone is truly amazing and most definitely worth all of the extra effort that they went to!
The KE800 is similar to the Chocolate in its appearance. It comes in a mixture of colours, featuring grey, black and red, but yet avoids the problem of picking up fingerprints easily, which was prevalent in the original Chocolate. The screen is beautifully framed by the casing and displays a huge range of colours, thus making the visual appearance of images simply mind blowing! This would be perfect for very arty individuals like J K Rowling or Ewan McGregor.
Oozing style and class, it is a flip phone with a touch sensitive keypad for ease of use, although you may struggle with it if you happen to have larger fingers. However, it makes it easy to navigate the KE800’s menu features, which are well laid out in a logical order. As such, you can access anything you want to very quickly!
The camera featured on the KE800 is 2MP and takes excellent pictures. The detail and focus is simply fantastic simply because of the auto focus feature that is becoming standard in many phones, although this one seems to work that little bit better! The music functionality on the KE800 is also desirable because it will play a whole host of files – MP3, AAC and WAV to name a few, as well as having FM Radio! The sound quality is exceedingly high and this makes it possible to enjoy your phone to the full when on the move. The music and camera functionality serves as a perfect example of just how hard LG have worked on this phone to make it the average user’s dream, and they have most definitely succeeded.
However, in order to have the music and imaging on the phone as comprehensive as the average user wants it today, you will need to expand the memory. With 256MB of inbuilt memory, the KE800 is excellent in terms of the songs and images it can hold, but there is a memory card slot so you can hold as many photos and songs as you like to make your phone your own. With this sort of functionality, you should customise it and enjoy it to the full!
