The MDA Compact III is a fantastic all-rounder. It’s a dedicated navigation PDA with GPS receiver built in for you to add your own Satellite navigation software. It runs on the powerful Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system. The Compact III is very user friendly. Control the cursor with the miniature trackball and use its silver dial as a scroll wheel. Keeping up with your emails is simple and you can surf the internet with web’n’walk. It has 128MB of internal memory and a microSD card slot for expansion, plus a two mega-pixel digital camera with digital zoom and video capture, Windows Media player, FM radio, Bluetooth and USB cable connectivity.
Change the memory card
Follow these instructions to change the memory card.
Please note: The phone needs to be turned off before you change the memory card.
1 Remove the back cover
Turn the phone around so the back is facing you.
Slide the back cover downwards to loosen it.
Remove the back cover.
2 Remove the battery
Take hold of the strap and remove the battery.
3 Remove the SIM card
Slide the SIM card holder downwards and lift it up.
Slide the SIM card out of the SIM card holder.
4 Remove the memory card
Use the small strap to remove the memory card from the phone.
Remove the memory card.
5 Insert new memory card
Slide the memory card into the holder.
Place the memory card in the holder and press it into place.
6 Insert new SIM card
Turn the SIM card so the angled corner of the SIM card is aligned with the angled corner of the SIM card holder.
Slide the SIM card into the SIM card holder.
Press the SIM card holder down and slide it upwards.
7 Replace the battery
Place the battery in the phone, battery teeth first. Press the battery into place.
8 Replace the back cover
Place the back cover on the phone with ½ cm opening at the top and slide it upwards.
